More cemeteries are adopting height limits to simplify maintenance. That doesn't have to mean a plain rectangle.
Use the face angle
A 30° slant face gives lettering and etching the same visibility as an upright at a fraction of the height.
Add depth with the edges
Rock-pitched perimeters and bevelled edges catch light and make low pieces feel carved rather than cut.
